Rising NY-raised rapper and producer Roga Raph is preparing to drop his new EP- but in the interim, he shares with us his new single "So it Seems". The track sees him working with co-producer Elijah Fox and together they craft an eclectic soundscape made up of dusty jazz and lofi-infused, boombap aesthetics. Here, Roga digs deep to reflect on how our environment somehow limits us from experiencing life to the fullest. From our own limited knowledge to social and physiological constraints, Roga breaks down how these variables keep us from reaching our full potential. Lines like "I know it probably that it doesn't now but one day yet it will all make sense/Moon travels through the sky if I ain't know no better, I will too think I'm fly " show that while he doesn't have the answers like Sway, he sure doesn't give up on trying to expand his horizons.
"So it seems" is taken from Roga Raph's forthcoming EP, We’ll See. Which is available now for pre-order and hits DSPs on September 22nd through Raph’s own fledgling label, S.O.O.N.
