Hackney-raised producer and musician XVR BLCK has been making his bones with his genreless production style ranging from drill and rap to Afrobeats and dancehall, to pop and garage. The rising artist recently put out his self-produced The BLCKOut (EP) Vol. 1, and now he drops the video for the song "Eastside" to celebrate the release. The record sees him teaming up with prolific rapper SNE for a brilliant R&B/hiphop-infused jam which showcases the two artists infusing their distinct talents into a smooth and versatile sound. Bolstered by XVR BLCK's smooth piano-laden soundscape and an inviting melodic performance to set the tone, SNE comes through and switches it up with a fiery rap verse, captivating listeners with its seamless fusion. The song also benefits from the captivating guitar work crafted by Jemil Major, adding an additional layer of artistry to the composition.

The visual has a live performance feel and captures both XVR BLCK and SNE in a studio setting doing what they love the most.

Produced, composed, and engineered by XVR BLCK himself, The BLCKOut (EP) Vol. 1 is the first EP in a series of three projects to be released by XVR over the next 12 months that will be showcasing the very best of British Black music in all of its glory. Featuring rising talents, Ryan De La Cruz, SNE, Nicolas Alexander, 1ZerO, and Gimme2Minutes, this first offering is an exciting display of UK R&B music in ways that only XVR can deliver. From his strong statement of intent on the opening track "Check The Portfolio", to the infectious summer party starter on lead single ‘Pembeni’, to early fan-favourite on ‘EastSide’, The BLCKOut (EP) Vol. 1 is a musical tour de force from XVR BLCK.
