West Coast artists Trizz and Kokane team up for this summer G-Funk jam titled "Let Me Ride" which pays homage to the classic G-Funk sound, Dr. Dre founded. The production by PhatBeatz is heavy with funk synths, lush textures and head-nodding bass-heavy drum grooves that rattle the speakers once you hit the play button. Trizz sure sounds at home here and seamlessly floats on the beat with his distinct flow and stylish drawl. He is joined by Kokane whom many would recognize from his work on "The Chronic 2001" by Dr. Dre and "The Last Meal" by Snoop Dogg. He added his own smooth melodic touch to the track to wrap it up.
The music video is shot by Castro of NewHighFilmz who makes ample use of low riders and performance shots of both Trizz and Kokane as they do their thing alongside their homies or as they cruise through the streets with a handful of shorties.
