Leeds-based alt-pop sensation Lucky Iris is riding high on a wave of tastemaker acclaim. Maeve and Jasper, the creative minds behind the duo, have just dropped their hotly anticipated EP titled 'maybe i'm too much,' igniting some serious excitement.

The EP arrives alongside its captivating title track, seamlessly blending catchy melodies with alternative electronic elements. Lucky Iris' ability to fuse danceable beats with introspective lyrics has earned them accolades from notable UK tastemakers and the pair's musical finesse shines on the track, weaving lo-fi electronic beats, glitching arpeggiators, and dreamy synth pads, all underpinning Maeve's understated yet compelling lead vocals. The result is an infectious alt-pop soundscape with a relatable commercial edge.

Maeve and Jasper share insights into the song, revealing its personal origins: "This song is for anyone who’s ever been made feel like they’re ‘too much’… it’s taken me far too long to realise that… 'maybe i’m too much' is actually one of the first songs I wrote for Lucky Iris… Instead, I made ‘maybe i’m too much’ a reminder not to let other people define your self-worth."

With their signature blend of melodies and innovation, the duo continues to captivate, making their mark on the alt-pop scene.
