Soleil and VKZ have connected for a fresh new project, titled LOVE / SOUND + ROBOTS. Soleil is a songwriter born in New York but based in Miami, who uses her powerful, polished vocals to tell stories from her life, delivered with a soulful, blues-influenced delivery. VKZ is the brainchild of Nicaraguan-born, Miami-based artist Victor Telleria, who launched his career as a music producer with eclectic singles like "louis vuitton" and "Waking Up in Dreams", drawing from various influences within electronica. Their latest collaborative offering is  LOVE / SOUND + ROBOTS, a summery, vibrant release that is chock-full of dynamic sounds from a variety of sub-genres such as Afro house, bossa nova, drum and bass, house, R&B, and UK garage.

The tropical, laid-back bounce of "SOLO LOVER (I'M YOURS)" draws influence from electronic and Latin music for an energizing start to LOVE / SOUND + ROBOTS, introducing VKZ and Soleil's ear for infectious melodies. Swung, sleek percussion and engaging keys appear on "COMPLICATED" that add a character-rich UK garage feel, capped off by Soleil's silky vocal performance. "STRANGERS" presents a highlight with its lightly distorted drum and bass sound, featuring punchy percussion, expansive synths, and airy vocal lines. "NTBYG" closes out the LOVE / SOUND + ROBOTS with a vibrant track soaked in ambiance, further showcasing the duo's dynamic, versatile songwriting and production with crystalline synths laid atop a cathartic  drum pattern bursting with energy.

LOVE / SOUND + ROBOTS presents a versatile new offering from Soleil and VKZ that keeps the listener on their toes with a dazzling array of influences and sounds. Arriving right on time in the sweltering months of summer, the lively, memorable project finds them refusing to be boxed in to one style, with Afro house, drum and bass, house, UK garage, and more appearing throughout the tracklisting.
