JRoberts, IM'PERETIV, and Rasheed Chappell look toward "Better Days"

Toronto, Canada-based rapper JRoberts is racking up numbers on the boards with his numerous collaborations, and on his latest effort titled "Better Days", he recruits veteran NY emcee Rasheed Chappell to join him. Over the soulful and contemplative soundscape provided by Canadian underground producer IM'PERETIV, both emcees share their thoughts on the daily tribulations and the never-ending cycle of struggle that we all must go through to come out right. JRoberts starts the race with a fiery performance ripe with gloomy lines and vivid rhyme schemes such as "School of hard knocks, how they teach crooked minds, every lesson taught will behind broken spines and then crime pays until the day you get caught".  Rasheed follows through with an equally thought-provoking verse that sums it all up as he gives us the dark side of the back alleys and the thin line between making it or falling within the cracks. Joining them is the singer L-Biz who ties it up with an uplifting melodic chorus that dwells on resilience and willpower to come out the other side of the fire unscathed.
