London multi-instrumentalist SANDS delivers uplifting production “Transmission,” which draws inspiration from the overwhelming feel of the busy North East London neighbourhood he once resided in.
Taken from his forthcoming album The World’s So Cruel, the energetic shoegaze track builds on shimmering synths, catchy guitars and bouncing beats to capture a hectic vibe. The layered soundscape is infused with the chaotic touch of his life at the time, led by his honest yet poetic song writing with lyrics such as “You’ve gone way down too far but if you scream I’ll find you there.”
Giving us yet another glimpse of his seamless blended sonic influences within a blend of rock ‘n’ roll, psychedelia, and pop elements, the upbeat track leaves us in anticipation of what’s to come from SANDS.
