Canadian musical sensation Miranda Joan has just shared her latest music video. Called "Too Much (Coffee)", the video blends two of her latest singles into one musical and visual adventure. The two songs are off of her upcoming sophomore album Overstimulated out later this year.
The video starts off with the song "Coffee", a delectable offering and dedication to Miranda's first beverage of choice, the one and only coffee. Lyrics including "baby you're the only drink I ever wanna have / fill my body soothe my soul / with every single splash", show just how deep her love and intense craving is for one of the world's most popular beverages. Delicate piano chords underlay Miranda's gorgeous soul bearing vocals in this slow burning intro. The music video then rolls into the funky uptempo single "Too Much", a look back at a moment when one loses themselves in overindulgence. "I think I had too much / think I might've overdone it / trippin your touch / I think you might've undone me," Miranda sings telling her lover how much they have consumed her. The fun loving music video was filmed by Miranda herself on her iphone and shows an average day for the singer riding her bike, eating pizza and enjoying the scenic views in Brooklyn.
Miranda Joan combines elements of soul, Jazz, rock, folk, R&B and pop for a unique and intoxicating listen. The songwriter has roots in both Vancouver and Montreal Canada but now makes Brooklyn New York her home. With a voice unlike any other and a creative soul pop vision, Miranda Joan is a thrilling artist and a must add to any of your playlists.
