ABSYTE show us the true “Power of Prayer”

Veteran rapper and songwriter ABSYTE is not green to the game and with her time-tested skills, she is bringing more than just bravado raps to the forefront of her music. Her latest release titled "Power of Prayer" is a modern-day rap version of the negro spiritual. Bolstered by a rousing and cinematic backdrop that exudes urgency, ABSYTE delivers a fiery and impassioned performance ripe with an uplifting theme to wake up her kinfolk.

Armed with her distinct and commanding vocal tone and smooth flow, ABSYTE drops more jewels than a clumsy diamond setter plus her unapologetic stance on issues that affect black folks is the crux of the matter. To wrap things up, she lays the hammer on the chorus with a proclamation-type hook that goes "Rules meant to be broken/while stroking on the high note/the power of prayer got haters on the top ropes/blood thicker than water trying to cope"
