Brooklyn artist Justin Meyer dives into the experience of a quarter-life crisis on “Friends With Fear,” fusing thoughtful lyrics with upbeat instrumentation. Blending hypnotic electric guitars with wispy background vocals from musician Lily Kelso, the track captures the impermanence of life within a relatable message.

Written in 2020, the tack embraces the uncertainty that came to the forefront of all our lives amidst the pandemic, seesawing between the vulnerability of time slipping away and reclaiming our joy of being alive with an intricate balance of emotions.

Colorado-hailing Meyer began pursuing his life-long passion for music in 2019 and has never looked back since, showcasing songwriting prowess and versatile musicality that cements his status as a rising star.
