Marie Dahlstrom drops new single “Make It Up To You”, feat. Kofi Stone

Danish, London-based musician, producer and vocalist Marie Dahlstrom has unveiled her new single "Make It Up To You" featuring Birmingham rapper Kofi Stone, and has shared the artwork and track listing for her upcoming new album 'A Good Life' which will be released on 22nd May via her own JFH Records label. The prolific singer has positioned herself as a staple in the London R&B scene with her numerous collaborations, especially with Dan Diggas and Aligo. "Make It Up To You" is the follow-up to last year's "Clouds" and it sees her working once again with south London producer and Young Poet/Ninja Tune signee Conor Albert, who gifts her with a mid-tempo soca and Latin-inspired grooves peppered with R&B/soul aesthetics.

The record sees her tracing the cracks forming in a relationship, but more than anything focuses on the determination to find her way through it. Joining her is emerging Birmingham rapper Kofi who adds his own 2 cents to the record with an equally emotionally powerful look at moving on from a past lover.
