South-London based artist, PRVNA, begins the year with her independently released single, “Only U”. This soulful track draws inspiration from alternative RnB, funky house and Afro-Latin genres captivating us with her sultry hooks and funky basslines. Only U taps into a tropical, feel-good sound, paired with inspiration from her childhood, growing up in South-London.

PRVNA comments, “I am a woman in dance music, and my voice will always return to the free spirit of 90’s club classics that I listened to growing up. I’ve found it incredibly empowering to be fun and flirty on a record, and have loved owning that space”. Her smooth vocals blend beautifully with 7 Wallace’s producer, N:Fostell, who delves into his alter ego, DJ Naughty, a big player on the UK’s funky house scene.

This track is her first single of 2023, to be followed by her debut afro-fusion EP Move my Hips later this summer. It's a project that's all about vibe, covering lots of styles with an eccentric, electronic style.

"Only U" is out now on all streaming platforms.
