London-based, Scottish singer-songwriter Blair Davie reminds us that the ache of missing our loved ones can be beautiful even within heart break on captivating single “To Miss You.”
Led by a warm pop-rock styling, the track layers rich yet soaring vocal lines over a euphoria-laden instrumentation as Davie draws us in and makes a lasting impact with the perfect balance of an expansive sound and the intimate song writing.
Speaking of the track and the inspiration behind it, Davie says, “I wrote To Miss You when I was miles away from home. It was the first time I’d been apart from my family for longer than a month and I felt this heavy weight of loneliness, in a new city where I barely knew anyone. Then a couple of weeks before heading home I met someone who showed me that it’s better to love and feel all the emotions that come with that, than to never feel at all.”
