The Lost Messiahs' have been steadily making a name for themselves in the music scene, and their latest release "Brownsfield" is a testament to their continued growth as a band. This hauntingly beautiful song and its accompanying video are both mesmerizing and emotionally charged, inviting the listener into a world of introspection, and raw emotion.

The song opens with a delicate guitar that draws you into the track. It's a slow, contemplative melody that immediately grabs your attention and draws you in.

Frontman James O’Connor’s vocals enter the mix, and his powerful, emotive voice takes center stage. James delivers the lyrics with a sense of raw honesty and vulnerability that is both compelling and relatable.

As the song progresses, the instrumentation gradually builds in intensity, with the addition of drums, bass, and layered guitar work that add a sense of urgency and tension to the track.

The chorus is particularly powerful, with a memorable hook that will stick in your head long after the song is over. The combination of haunting vocals and intricate guitar work creates an atmosphere that is both ethereal and otherworldly, with a sense of mysticism and wonder that is truly captivating.

The music alone does not account for the success of "Brownsfield" as the video that accompanies it is equally impressive and contributes to its overall appeal.

In addition to the music, the epic video is also captivating. Directed by Lost Messiahs guitarist Ollie Plunkett and filmed and edited by Thomas Moyles of Avalanche Media, the intricate video features fits the song like a glove. The imagery creates a sense of nostalgia as the video also includes visual metaphors and symbolic elements that add depth to the overall experience.

The video also features a number of visual metaphors and symbolic elements that add depth and meaning to the overall experience. These subtle touches add layers of complexity to the video and allow the viewer to engage with it on a deeper level.

The Lost Messiahs’ "Brownsfield" is a stunning achievement for the band. The song is a masterclass in atmosphere and emotion, and the video is a perfect visual representation of those qualities. It's clear that the band has put a great deal of thought and care into every aspect of this release, from the lyrics and instrumentation to the visuals and overall aesthetic.

The Lost Messiahs toured extensively in 2022 playing at high-profile venues including Cleere’s Theatre Kilkenny, Crane Lane Theatre Cork , Midlands Prison Portlaoise and to a  packed headlining gig in the Mindfield Arena, Electric Picnic.
