New Jersey-based producer and composer Know Life is not green to the game, and has more than a decade plus experience, having worked with renowned underground artists such as Von Pea of Tanya Morgan, Add-2, and Xperience. His latest effort is The Seclusion Tape, a compilation that showcases his range of musical styles ranging from boom-bap, to soul and R&B-soul with a lot of oomph.
To push the release, he delivers this single "Let Me Know" to the forefront. The soulful tune sees him teaming up with singer/songwriter Cayte Lee aka ALLEYCVT and the result is a classic heartwarming track that will appeal to lovers of the genre. The record is ripe with moody and ethereal sound design and warm textures that blend with Cayte's lush and commanding vocals that cascade the backdrop like the scarlet evening sun. The lyrics are sensual and unapologetic as Cayte pours her unfiltered feelings on wax, letting her significant other know exactly what she wants from them.
