Los Angeles based Danelle Sandoval is a platinum award-winning artist who fuses elements of alt R&B and pop to produce decadent one-of-a-kind songs. Her latest single “Cold” was written about a relationship on the verge of a breakup and feeling her partner slip away. Showing her emotional side, Sandoval offers “Cold” from a place of true experience the personal memories of being on the "cold" side of a toxic relationship.

"Cold" is abundant with rhythmic undercurrents of bass, iridescent harmonies, and subtle beats that bounce back against the rich vocals on the surface. Danelle Sandoval recounts the intimate moments that led up to the demise of her relationship and the familiar feeling of doing anything in her power to hang on. Sandoval sings, “Really wanna say something to you/ but I don’t understand the things that you do / you got so damn cold baby.” “Cold” is an anthemic break up track that uses lush, groove-inspired soundscapes to dive deeper into retrospection and healing.

Danelle Sandoval is a Filipino-American artist who gained early notoriety with her Youtube cover of “Tuesday” by ILoveMakonnen ft. Drake. Her version of the track was remixed and quickly became a viral sensation, reaching more than 1 billion streams across platforms. “Cold” is her latest release that showcases the artist's dynamic range of styles and influences, further proving that Danelle Sandoval is here to stay. Listen to Danelle Sandoval's "Cold" for a magnetic and relatable take on how it feels when the love we give isn't returned.
