London-based indie-pop musician, producer/ songwriter Isla Rose is preparing to release her debut EP No Answers, but in the interim, she gives listeners a taste of what is to come in the form of this edgy pop single titled "I'm Sorry". The song is as dynamic as they come and starts off with a simple synth progression with her vocals in tow as it slowly rises to a plateau in the first chorus section. The production is rich, and punchy and makes use of ebb and flows to accentuate Isla's distinct soft vocals that gently lilt as the track transitions from section to section. The record sees her finding her true north as she faces her greatest adversary, herself and through it all, she finds the strength to mush on. The visual also taps into the theme of the song with its dark and moody aesthetics, expressive choreography and fast-cut scenes that are threaded by her performance shots.
Her debut EP No Answers coming March 2023 takes a dive into her life and experiences she’s had including themes of self-exploration, coming-of-age, and spirituality.
