Diego Cool has shared a new single called "FreakNasty". Cool is a rapper, actor, and entrepreneur based in Winston-Salem. Originally hailing from North Carolina, he discovered his passion for music at a young age, and started taking his craft seriously in the 9th grade. Since then, he has honed his skills over a series of electrifying releases such as "No Love", "Win", and more. Eventually attending the Art Institute of Charlotte, where he developed his skills and expertise in film, Cool hopes to present a visual experience with his musical work, and tie his various platforms of expertise together. His latest release, "FreakNasty", pairs bouncy, high-energy sonics with passionate vocals for a gripping, sensual new cut.

Warm, infectious synths open "FreakNasty", as a crisp, engaging rhythm section creeps in to underscore Cool's charismatic vocals. With melodically-tinged inflections, Cool brings a sense of urgency while also maintaining a laid-back stylishness that melds cohesively with the song's production. As booming 808s enhance the song's dynamic build, Cool delivers hard-hitting vocals that culminate in a poignant hook that lingers in the listener's mind long after the track's completion.

The latest from North Carolina's Diego Cool, "FreakNasty" makes for a club-ready single that continues his prolific run of releases into 2023.
