Stalking Gia releases the prefect "happy birthday!" anthem for our exes

Stalking Gia has once again created an intoxicating indie pop single. Called "happy birthday!", the track is the last of the year from this New York City based platinum selling songwriter.

With "happy birthday!", Stalking Gia chronicles the myriad of feelings following a toxic breakup with the perfect birthday song to sing to a narcissistic past lover. Lyrics including, "bad timing / all the time / tell some girl this is love / you're so cool / happy birthday / everybody loves you / I hate you / I'm angry," are equally raw, honest and sarcastic. Stalking Gia points out that the birthday ex acts frivolously and just wants to party instead of looking at solving their own problems and how they can improve themselves. Sonically, "happy birthday!" thrills with layered shiny synths and an addictive anthemic chorus. Expansive instrumentation lulls under Stalking Gia's magnetic vocals singing dazzling melodies full of fervor.

Stalking Gia began releasing music six years ago with her viral single "Second Nature". Since then the singer/ songwriter has built a dedicated fanbase who are drawn to her stirring alt pop bangers with existential narratives. Collaborating with the likes of blackbear and racking up millions of streams, Stalking Gia is making an impressive mark in the often overcrowded alt pop music scene.
