Alessandro Ciminata has returned with new single “When I’m Still In Love With You” alongside his new EP I’ll Wear Your Sadness Like It’s Mine. Produced by platinum record producer Jack Gourlay, the new single explored a nostalgia filled indie-pop bal;led which is brought to life by Alessandro’s passionate vocals.
Born in Italy and now based in London, Ciminata received support from multiple radio stations and publications across the UK, which brought him to the spotlight. Having sold out his headline show in London back in 2019 at The Waiting Room, Ciminata has drawn up a large online following on TikTok. Speaking on his latest single ‘When I’m Still In Love With You”, Ciminata writes – “When I’m Still In Love With You is about the struggle of getting over somebody when still having feelings for them. Have you ever been in love so madly, then went through a bad breakup? Well, it takes time to move on. We are forcing ourselves to forget that person, but in reality, they will always be part of who we are and who we are becoming.”
Throughout the three track EP, there’s something highly affectionate about the style and sound of Ciminata’s music. With slender guitar licks and a gentle blend of guitar, synths and basslines, the soundtrack of the EP works as a powerful moving piece of music.
