Teen pop singer/songwriter GRIPPA has just shared her latest emotive single and visuals. Called "November" the track is off of her debut EP set for release early next year.
"November" is a gripping pop ballad complete with moody guitar licks, soulful vocals and delicate vocals that capitviate with every note. The layered pre-chorus is heartbreaking and intriguing at the same time. The narrative of "November" is the deep yearning and sometimes missing of someone you just went through a breakup with.
Lyrics including, "you are fading from me / cold nights feel so empty / November reminds me of you," highlight the loss of a once love and the difficulties of moving on. The accompanying visuals show GRIPPA in front of a campfire having flashback memories of her ex. The music video is deeply contemplative and heartbreaking adding an extra compelling narrative to the single.
GRIPPA grew up inspired by musical theater and left-of-center pop. Soon finding a love for singing and songwriting, the 16-year-old began crafting her debut six-song EP. The upcoming EP all tell the stages of a breakup, thoughtfully and candidly. Check out GRIPPA's "November" now and remember you too can overcome lost love.
