Los Angeles-based designer, author, photographer, musician, and film director FrankHaveMercy is a man who wears several hats. He got into music at a young age, growing up around music played by his mum who wrote down the lyrics to her favorite songs, which in turn inspired Frank to start developing his own craft later as a young adult.
After releasing a slew of singles and EPs, he returns with a new one-off single titled "Tuesdays" as he prepares for his upcoming 2023 tour. The record stops short before the 2-minute mark and is bolstered by dark moody textures, ethereal pads with punchy and sparsely arranged hard-hitting drums to boot.
The record's premise is inspired by two main things, the name of the producer (yes the title is his moniker) and Frank's own life experiences with a focus on the highlights as he takes steps to revel in what life has in store for him. He sounds reflective and thoughtful on the record as he delivers his melodic flow in a passionate and somewhat carefree manner.
