SeepeopleS share animated visuals for their song "Shame" [video]

Acclaimed genre-defining indie pranksters SeepeopleS, led by Portland-based singer-songwriter Will Brandford, return with animated visuals for their insightful record "Shame." The alternative-pop tune explores the modern world we live in filled with fear and pain of living in a country under constant threat of violence, where safety can't even be guaranteed in schools. Through somber piano keys, lush guitar riffs, and soft drums, this atmospheric track explores the fast-changing world we live in where the strong feed on the meek and gives listeners a brooding sense of urgency in real-time. Lines like "Happens to me, every time I breathe/ I feel deceived, every passing moment I struggle to believe" dig deep into an individual who has lost his innocence but still tries to find a sliver of hope for a better world.
The accompanying music video was animated by Pete List, known for his animation work on MTV's Celebrity Death Match and his stop-motion music videos and depicts the harrowing magical journey of a child bullied and living in a world where school shootings are heartbreakingly commonplace.  This marks the second collaboration between List and SeepeopleS, following 2018's "New American Dream" which won a Pixie Award for "Best Video" but was eventually banned by Facebook for its outspoken politics.

"Shame" is off of their sixth LP, Field Guide For Survival In This Dying World.
