Neo-soul pop artist TAEHEE has released her new and well-anticipated single "Feelings". A perfect demonstration of her natural ability to create gorgeous modern pop. Writing and performing from the age of 5, it’s no surprise that her skill has been drawn through years of hard work and dedication. Filled with warm and smoothly blending harmonies, you can tell that her musical influences have made a large impact on her immaculate sound. Inspired by legends such as Jill Scott, Chrisette Michelle, H.E.R and D’angelo, "Feelings" stands out as a track that’s been brewing up for years and is finally ready.
Her flavoursome modern pop style has been assisted by veteran producer Matt Anthony who’s worked alongside Pat Monahan of Train, Darious Rucker, Shontelle, Shinedown, Halestorm and several American Idol and The Voice artists to name just a few.
Speaking on her new track and her process behind it she writes, "The song is me telling my crush to stop thinking too much and give into the feelings! It’s really about the times that you know that you like them and the other person also likes you back, but nothing is happening. It originally started as a sad crush song, saying “I wish I was somebody else, somebody different” but then I started producing the track, and the sounds called for a brighter perspective. So I wrote a totally different melody and the lyrics and that became the final song “feelings”.
‘Feelings’ is available on all streaming platforms now.
