After gaining a loyal fan-base online with a series of singles, 21 year old singer-songwriter from the Austrian mountains Lea G has released her new highly anticipated EP SURVIVAL MODE. Now based in London, Lea fell in love with music from the age of 6 and moved to London to pursue music full-time in Autumn 2019 where she decided to study songwriting and A&R at the Notting Hill Academy of Music.

SURVIVAL MODE demonstrates her creative ability in a profound way – each track is bold yet relatable and conveys messages through catchy hooks and nostalgic melodies with influences ranging from Florence and The Machine to Jeremy Zucker. Throughout, Lea has created a unique blend of alternative-pop music which crosses with singer songwriter elements by mixing acoustic guitar with distorted guitars and loud drum sections. The fresh pop energy throughout this EP collides with her acoustic style effortlessly.

"SUICIDAL" perfectly demonstrates the raw alt-pop energy that Lea G is capable of. She sings about a deploy personal meaning of experiencing suicidal thoughts and having to cope with them. The warming sound of Lea’s voice and dramatic drum samples all come together to create a powerful sound that could make windows break. The project then picks up an anthemic edge, with "IRRELEVANT" showcasing the talented songwriters ability to evoke a driving indie edge in her sound. Ending with "SURVIVAL MODE," a track that effortlessly creates a warming aura through impressive chord structures and angelic vocals. SURVIVAL MODE is an EP that has it all, moving lyrics and hair thrashing indie rock moments that leaves you wanting more.

SURVIVAL MODE is out now on all streaming platforms.
