Fast-rising Nigerian Afropop singer-songwriter and producer IDAHAMS has been on a hot streak ever since the release of his acclaimed 2020 EP Man On Fire. Fast-forward to the summer of 2022, and the Bonny Island native is back with a glorious new single titled "Bad Girl" featuring Ajebo Hustlers and is excited to announce his highly anticipated debut album titled Truth, Love & Confessions. "Bad Girl" is the lead single and sees IDAHAMS teaming with Yussy Beats and mastered by Grammy Award-winning producer and audio engineer Vtek who help with bringing the singer's art to life. The production is as silky as linen with its dreamy chords, lush pads and crisp drum grooves that blend seamlessly with IDAHAMS' mellow melodic runs and vivid lyrics depicting a steamy session with a girl and then some. He is joined by Nigerian rap duo Ajebo Hustlers who finesse the record with their distinct storytelling skills.
"Bad Girl" is the tip of the iceberg and he promises that his upcoming album Truth, Love & Confessions would surpass expectations as he has carefully put together a symphonic memoir of his personal life experiences over the past year, while also addressing the socio-political and environmental issues that are currently affecting his hometown – the outcome of which, is a glorious melting pot of good music, confessional true stories and personal activism. The album is scheduled to be released on the 16th of September.
