Elephants and Stars reflect on unreasonable arguments on "Turn It All Around"

Canadian rock quintet Elephants and Stars reflects on arguments on latest single “Turn It All Around,” taken from their new album Last Chance Power Drive. Stocked with fast-paced, infectious rock, the high-energy production blends crunchy guitars and soft synths with thumping drums.

Led by punchy vocals that thoughtful song writing on arguments with people who refuse to see reason, the track’s lyrical message is expansive and relatable to several life situations. Frontman and vocalist Manfred Sittmann, explains “This could apply to something as simple as a relationship or something more broad like climate-change denial, anti-vaxxers or talking to a deranged Trump supporter.”

Taking inspiration from the upside down world of Stranger Things, the band weave a narrative of a world without reason and logic. Driven by a two-chord arrangement that’s given more depth in the hands of producer Ian Blurton, the track is an intense and charismatic number that represents everything Last Chance Power Drive graces us with.

Bursting onto the scene in 2020 and rising quickly in the rock scene for the exciting soundscapes and imaginative songwriting, Elephants and Stars pay ode to all their influences while crafting something that’s uniquely theirs on the musical journey.
