Veteran Detroit emcee Guilty Simpson ramps up the stakes as he drops his new project entitled GUILT, with the release of the visuals for the third single "Make it Count". The track produced by Jason Rose has a haunting texture and thick drums perfect for Guilty Simpson's commanding flows and authoritative rhymes like "I KO cats with my off hand, The boss man/ I toss cans when I'm off the can/Keep a small dialogue, my talk is grand."
This is followed by a smooth vocal scratched hook by longtime collaborator DJ Ragz. Jason Rose takes charge of the second verse with an animated cadence and equally menacing lyrics.
The video was shot and edited by Mostly Decent with help from Stephanie and Kount Fif. It makes use of Hasbro action figures with one resembling Guilty clutching an extra-sized joint and assorted weapons while turning the battlefield into a slaughterhouse, Rambo style.
GUILT is OUT NOW (7/29) on Man Bites Dog Records.
