Rising teen pop sweetheart Annissa Murad drops summer anthem “Ice Cream Mess,” a modern pop soundscape framed by carefree early 2000s vibes, which leaves you feeling lighter and like all your problems have been solved.

Led by Murad’s melodic vocals and vibrant sonics the relatable track inspired by the carefree tunes of a cafe in Paris seeks to put aside negativity and enjoy living your best life by letting go of everything bringing you down.

Perfectly complimenting a feel-good guitar-led instrumentation, Murad’s comforting voice contemplates, “do you ever get that feeling where nothing seems to be going your way?,” as her raw, heartfelt song writing bubbles up with a reminder that things are never quite as bad as they seem.

At only 15, Annissa showcases an ability smoothly merge youthful charm with a startling wisdom beyond her years as she encourages us to embrace the ups and downs of life, crafting an artistry that’s a perfect combination of bold rock-chic Avril Lavigne visuals with Taylor Swift-esque tender storytelling.

Commenting on the inspiration behind the track she says, “I had always wanted to write a song which perfectly matched the feeling when nothing in life seems to be going your way since it’s such a universal experience which every single person has felt at least once in their lifetime, so when I stumbled over the title “ice cream mess” I thought it was such a vivid description of how at times life can feel as though you are a melted ice cream, once a perfectly shaped scoop till you and your sprinkles go melting all over the ground.”

Leaving you feeling refreshed and just like another teen on the block, “Ice Cream Mess,” wraps around us with comforting warmth, with an upcoming music video set to elevate the track’s bright girl-next-door summer movie vibe.

Classically trained at the pain since the age of four, and with a wide range of musical influences forming the base of her nuanced sound lined equally with fun-filled adventures and philosophical reflections, Annissa is striving towards pop stardom and there’s nothing to stop her as her infectious yet introspective musicality sets her up as teen pop sensation in the making.
