LA indie act Nick Leng shares his sophomore album Spirals alongside a live video for the title track “Spirals,” a ballad-style production with intoxicating piano melodies framing his emotive vocals that weave a tale of falling in love.
The music video which was filmed in New York while Leng was on tour with collaborator Nick Ventura. The jazzy ebbs and flows of the track is elevated by the intimate, atmospheric feel of the live video.
Recalling the show it was filmed at, Leng shares, “That show that was filmed was actually really difficult because, when I got on stage, my right in ear monitor died and so internally I was freaking out the whole time but I’m so happy everything went smooth.”
A textured track that grew and evolved as he performed it over and over, “Spirals,” captures Leng’s signature ability to bring enchanting soundscapes together in cohesive yet unpredictable arrangements that soar high and dip low, colored with his free-spirited personality and hypnotic sonic layers.
