San Diego, CA rapper Mitchy Slick presents the Justin "Marmo" Marmostein-directed music video for "In My El Co", his new collaboration with Central Valley, CA producer Sir Veterano. Both veterans in the game, Mitchy Slick makes short work of the funky backdrop provided by Sir Veterano with his laidback smooth flow and unassuming braggadocio style. The slick production is undeniable and really hits the mark with its lush synths, pulsating funk bass lines, and 80s-styled textures and bounce.
Justin "Marmo" Marmostein does a great job with the visuals. From the seamless scene transitions and smooth visual effects, to the classic set pieces, viewers get thrown into the exquisite OG lifestyle with a retro touch. The color coordination is noticeable too and each scene blends perfectly with the costumes.
The song appears on their forthcoming collab album Everybody Hates Mitch which features E-40, Jay Worthy, Silky Slim, Ise B, and 2die4. Mitchy is CEO of Wrongkind Records, a familial collective of rappers, deejays, and artists (watch the music video for "Imperial" featuring OsoOcean). Mitchy is a member of the rap supergroup Strong Arm Steady, along with rappers Phil Da Agony and Krondon. In 2021 Mitchy released 23 Blocks and in the past, he's collaborated with artists such as Lil Wayne, Nipsey Hussle, and The Game, whose Documentary 2.5 featured three guest shots from Mitchy.
