Italian American singer-songwriter and pianist Stefano May just unveiled his latest single and video for "False Horizon." The artist, whose eclectic, soul-bearing sound is influenced by a wide range of iconic classics intertwined with vulnerable lyricism and stunning instrumentation, combines a harmonious mix of styles and cultural elements for a worldly and embracing musical experience.

In "False Horizon," Stefano teamed up once again with acclaimed producer Chico Bennett for a cinematic, heartwarming song perfect for the start of summer. Oozing with nostalgia and infectious pop flair, the song combines bright pop melodies with twangy country dipped guitar for a journey into the depths of the California desert, where some of the most influential creations have been imagined.

In a track that truly feeds the soul and warms the heart, "False Horizon," has a way of connecting with listeners from all walks of life. May confides, " 'False Horizon' is an extraordinary trip into a parallel world where you can find your own state of peace, no matter where, no matter what with the pace of your soul. It's a song that was also meant to inspire everybody to find healthy alternatives to moments in life that shake up our daily routine. I thought about the "burning man" experience in California and this song came to light."

Lyrics such as, "if you can't take me somewhere / where things are always true / build me a false horizon / where the skies are blue," gives the listener inspiration to imagine a better life and a newfound sense of courage to build their dreams into their reality.

In the accompanying video, Stefano May is seen exploring the vast and iconic California desert, where the open landscape is symbolic of a blank page, a fresh canvas, or a new start. Cathartic, romantic, and radiating with old school glamour and passion, the visuals highlight the relationship between eras come and gone, and the beauty of the desert that will live forever.

Stefano May is known for his raw and vulnerable songwriting which fuses soul, pop and classical for a timeless experience. Hope, love, and connection are all important themes in May's music, who creates music in the aim to heal and bring people together. Originally from Soveria Mannelli, Italy, and now residing outside of Miami, Florida, May began classical piano training by the age of seven when he found his passion in music. “Music is made to heal your soul. People find commonality in the music they listen to and every song has the right time and place for each of its listeners.”
