Offenbach-based producer Rey&Kjavik shares a unique and transcendent new single "Dales", as part of his EP showcasing a new style and a new approach for the talented producer. Known for his work in the Organic house scene, his production skills have led to some dream slots including the legendary Burning Man and Fusion festivals.
First established in Frankfurt, Rey&Kjavik started his life in music as a booking agent before getting more involved with the creative side of the industry. Since then, he's releases with some of Europe's mist established labels including Get Physical, Compose Black Label, Kingstreet and plenty more.
On the new single, we hear the prolific German artist taking on a new production style to his critically acclaimed "Rkadash" album, which relied more on intricate organic production than synth work. The timing for this change of approach coincided with a break he took, exploring the world and experiencing life in Istanbul, New York, Ukraine and India. As he states "A hard-hitting bassline and strong breaks, that is a language that everybody is able to understand,"
On 'Dales' the track ignites with layers of vocoder and a solid, 808-style drum pattern. The track then builds introducing synth layers, with nuances and imperfections that hint at a hardware-based production approach.
