Buffalo, New York-raised singer/rapper OPENCEAZN (pronounced: Open Season) teams up with fellow rapper Benny The Butcher for this smooth collaboration titled “Coexist”. With platinum producer 9THREE behind the boards, the duo is given a lush and chilled soundscape to paint their verbal pictures over. OPENCEAZN set it off with his melodic runs which see him stating his claim as the best in the city while Benny reminds us of his slow rise as one of the dopest lyricists around. The track is tied up by OPENCEAZN"s catchy hook that exudes a summertime vibe.
The video was shot by fellow Buffalo native, Denzel Williams who makes use of extensive performance shots of the duo as they chill with their squad in the city. Surrounded by the place they call home, the duo are placed in their natural habitat as they live out their lyrics. The overall aesthetic is pleasing and the subtle transitions and use of different backdrops do add an engaging feel to it.
