New York City-based actress, singer-songwriter and influencer Gina Naomi Baez returns with a new single "Hidden Hurt". The track marks the second of the year from the artist who recently released the hopeful and uplifting ballad "Stick Around".
With "Hidden Hurt" Gina Naomi Baez explores how we all can put up a front and try to exude positivity when we are hurting inside. With lyrics including, "deepest secrets lie / even behind the prettiest smile / you don't know the full story / just the cover artwork / everyone of us has hidden hurt," Baez reminds the listener to show kindness and empathy for each other as each and every one of us can be going through something painful, even if we are exuding happiness on the outside. "Hidden Hurt" showcases Baez's pristine vocals full of passion and hope which glide effortlessly over colorful synths and soaring acoustic guitar riffs. "Hidden Hurt" ebbs and flows sonically mirroring the deep emotions found in each and every one of us.
Gina Naomi Baez is truly a woman wearing many hats. As an acclaimed actress landing roles in prominent TV shows (Orange Is the New Black, FBI) and movies (She’s Gotta Have It) as well as numerous Off-Broadway plays, the singer also runs a successful Youtube channel where she uses her comedic talents to inspire and entertain.
