Rising Afro Swing vocalist Big Skeez ushers in 2022 with his latest single "Bang," out today via NLV Records. The record is a mix of a variety of sounds ranging from smooth R&B sounds to hypnotic bass-heavy afrobeats aesthetics while Skeez delivers a heavy autotuned melodic performance. It's all for the fun of it as the rapper seems to be having fun with this carefree approach. From the get-go, he reminds us that he is not restrained by side talks and he is all about expressing himself any way he can. Again, he teams up with longtime collaborator Swick, who is responsible for the hard-hitting club sound that merges the world of Afrobeats with electronic-infused hip-hop.
The visual is straightforward with its use of fast-paced shots, performance cuts with Big Skeez, and a female companion who dances seductively at certain parts. The use of dark lighting also makes for an interesting change of vibe as well.
Big Skeez started his rap career four years ago and has built up a reputation as a high-energy performer who is slowly cementing his place in the Australian hip-hop sphere. He is currently working on a new yet-to-be-untitled EP.
