Emerging emcee rxlph comes through with the visuals for his new song "resentment." The record is as somber as they come and explores the dynamics of depression and the resentment he showed people who abandoned him in his time of need. He approaches it from the lens of a struggling artist who needed a support system but couldn't find any and ventured deep into the doldrums in the process before slowly finding his way out. Backed by the punchy and moody atmospheric soundscape, rxlph delivers a melodic performance ripe with his candid thoughts on the situation and uses it to ease the pain he felt during the experience.
The accompanying music video was directed by directorsagewolf and cuts straight to the chase while making extensive use of quick cut scenes, slow-paced movements and dark lighting to show rxlph's mental state as he battles through his inner demons. From the dark hallways, retro-tinged effects, and stock footage of the city, the visual sticks to the plot and capture's the artist in his true form.
