Montreal-based electronic producer Nico Dupuis, aka Anomalie, returns with the visualizer for his new release titled "Hummingbird." The mid-tempo tune is a vibrant and soul-stirring piece that is ripe with layers of sounds and its dynamic arrangement that strays from the norm. The track is a collaborative effort and sees Anomalie teaming up with electronic producer /violinist Jesse Hanson aka Bad Snacks. The result is a blissful and uplifting record that blends soft improvised piano progressions, cinematic violin strings threaded over an off-beat head-nodding drum groove.
"Hummingbird" is the follow-up to his Masego assisted single and continues the producer's love for collaborating with like-minded friends and fellow contemporaries in the musical space. Anomalie met Bad Snacks when she opened during their West Coast tour dates back in 2019.
"Hummingbird" can be streamed on all DSPs here. The single is lifted from Anomalie's forthcoming full-length release, Galerie which is due out April 29th via Nettwerk, followed by the Galerie World Tour, which kicks off in Dallas, TX, at the Deep Ellum Art Company on May 18th.
