Wallis Bird declares "What's Wrong With Changing" on fuzzy new single

Irish-born and Berlin-based artist Wallis Bird shares the unapologetic new single "What's Wrong With Changing?". Taken from her seventh studio album, the single is a gritty, bold statement that change is not only important but necessary to make the world a better place.

With its crashing drum thuds, chanting lyricism and fuzzy bass signatures, the track's chunky chords are addictively intense. Created by an artist confident in their musical path, "What's Wrong With Changing?" is an artistic expression of self-assurance. "The song is about the milestones of my life: living in London, getting to know other cultures as a young person, to Ireland breaking free from State and Church and voting in gay marriage in such a stark Catholic Country," explains Wallis. "In my short life there have been huge changes and social structures have been dissolved and I have said over and over: what is wrong with changing, there is nothing in this world that is not changing, so I think let’s move with the change."

A poignant track that reflects the ever-evolving world around us, Wallis' reminder to us all that change is no bad thing, can in fact act as a key reflection to the progressive nature of the future. With her powerful use of punk-infused sounds, the single draws on the evocative reverbed sonics that help to invigorate the minds of those who have become stagnant in everyday life.
