Australian singer/songwriter Olive Amun is just 22 years old and already a veteran of pop songwriting, understanding every little facet that makes a song unskippable. His latest single "Sell My Soul" is obviously the work of a pro, with every verse tuned to that ideal degree of listening perfection that allows for the song to worm its way into the depths of your psyche for weeks on end.
Produced by Hauskey and No Love For The Middle Child, "Sell My Soul" is an idealistic pop anthem written with simple yet engaging lyrics. Bolstered by its infectious guitar and boppy drums, there's nothing here to take away from the inescapable wit and confidence of its singer. Amun had to say of the track, “'Sell My Soul' is about doing anything and everything to get the person you love back while they are getting more and more uninterested and over you." It's everything you want in a radio-ready pop song, one that will surely persist until it hits the airwaves on every early summer playlist.
After releasing his debut EP Don't Leave Yet earlier this year via Dreams Never Die and Prim8 Music, Amun looks poised to continue his incredible run of anthemic pop with the incredibly strong "Sell My Soul". Just as easy to root for as he is to listen to, keep your eyes peeled for the future of the Australian's ultra-polished music.
