Experimental collective VUCA release a new video for “Glamour”. The tune is intriguing with its spacey soundscapes, gritty guitars, and gripping moody vocals with a mesmerizing and mysterious quality. There is so much bold, intensity radiating off the track, and the coordinating visuals fit that deep vibe with its gray coloring and dark message. Illustrating the negative effects of sex addiction, singer-songwriter Davey Harris plays the antagonist in this sinister depiction. The piece concludes with him surrounded by a circle of fire. It is the perfect end for something truly haunting.
VUCA is a creative art collective with over 30 collaborators. Fusing together music media and technology, they are always finding ways for artists to grow and evolve. “Glamour” takes influence from 1950’s SciFi and Exotica, making the offering so refreshingly unique. The video was directed by award-winning filmmaker Jeff Fitzimmons (Across the Line, Ashe ‘68) and partially shot at the historic Oriental Theater. Check out the evocative new release now.
