D3lta delivers a genre-defying exploration of human sentiments on single “Hypocrites,” a stunning offering with a soundscape that’s soothing yet foreboding. Led by the melodic lilt of the guitar, the track builds slowly, an eerie, haunting vibe settling heavily on the heart, before D3lta’s highly emotive vocals draws us into the world he has crafted for us.

Inspired by his own experience of mandatory service in the army in Greece, D3lta delves into the loss of individuality and identity breaking down what it means to conform to a “role” in the world. The nuanced production taps into a vulnerability that leaks from the emotion-cracked vocal delivery, as the lush instrumentals weave hypnotic vibes around us. With lyricism that speaks of the disillusionment he faced during his time as a soldier, “Hypocrites,” comes apart layer after layer taking us straight into a core that begs of us to drop the façade we hold up in life, letting ourselves be free instead.

Accompanied by a video with vivid yet dark tones, the woozy stylings of the track is given a heavy artistic edge as it taps into both his desire to connect with people and his creative flair. Showcasing an experimental sound that has developed as a journey from classical training at the age of five to grunge and punk influences in his teens, D3lta's music is as calming as it is anthemic.

Made up of versatile soundscapes, empathetic song writing and a defiant charm, “Hypocrites,” is the emblem of D3lta’s powerful music as he delivers poignant, impactful and incredibly relevant messages that usher us towards complete acceptance of ourselves.
