After dropping their first video some weeks ago, Eternia and Rel McCoy are back up and running with another set of visuals for the single "Praise" from the duo's forthcoming LP, FREE. As the title suggests, Eternia is in an appreciative mode and takes note of all the negative and positives in her life. Far from musing on things she can't change, she compartmentalizes her experiences and finds a silver lining that has helped her grow into a better person for the most part. McCoy stays sharp on the production tip and crafts a punchy bass-heavy boom-bap backdrop ripe with soulful elements and a classic vocal sample for the hook section.
While the video for her last release was shot in Queens,NY, this time Eternia takes a trip down to River Bay in St. Lucy, Barbados to soak in the sun and then some. Helmed by Andre Leacock of Scenes Entourage Productions, the video embodies the uplifting and positive energy of the track while showing viewers the beautifully exotic landscapes in the island nation.
Eternia & Rel McCoy would also like to acknowledge funding support from the Ontario Arts Council, an agency of the Government of Ontario.
