Sarah and the Sundays share the hazy indie single "Vices"

Texas quintet Sarah and the Sundays share their lullaby-like indie single "Vices". A track wrapped in bouncy drum patterns and reveals an addictive bass pattern, it's a notable track from a band who remain confident in their own sound.

Written during thir first stint at a studio, the single is "a song about loss, growth, and change overall". Anchoring their emotions into the song's fluidity and woozy guitar solos, the five piece hope that all who listen will "relate to the universal feeling of life's evolution and find meaning in the feelings we expressed about such change". With vocals that offer a moment of serenity, the band's indie sounds effuse a profound elegance.

Taken from their upcoming record THE LIVING END, "Vices" provides an insight into the band's progression since their EP release. Giving us a breezy number with crooning choruses that add warmth to 0ur hearts while blessing our souls with dreamy escapism, Sarah and the Sundays offer that late noughties nostalgia without feeling repetitive. Yes, we've heard something similiar before. But does that matter? Not. At. All. Because what Sarah and the Sundays give us is that searing indie guitar feeling that some bands can't quite remould today.
