Dj Caesar and Fashawn get real on "No Smiles"

Dj Caesar has teamed up with veteran California rapper Fashawn and producer APCQuest for a new single called "No Smiles". Over top of a regal, raw beat, Fashawn is a legendary underground emcee as he delivers a whirlwind of powerful flows.

Instrumentally, "No Smiles" is centred around darkly nostalgic vocal samples that are sonically layered and dense. These samples blend together smoothly over top of minimalistic, raw percussion. Beneath, rich bass glues the track together and provides a solid foundation for Fashawn's flexible, commanding rhymes. He comes through with some confident verses that sound effortless yet meticulously crafted.

Overall, "No Smiles" is a strong release from Dj Caesar, Fashawn, and APCQuest that sounds welcomingly retro while remaining fresh. The three artists craft a smoky, subtly dark offering that absorbs the listener in its mercurial atmosphere. One can only hope for more from them soon, as they sound as sharp as ever on this new offering.
