The burgeoning artist burst onto the scene with a slew of menacing cuts including "Lolli," "Who Want Smoke?," and "Slide." Now, the 19-year old is sharing his latest video single, "Pull Up". Produced by Nick Mira, the melodic single is set to a visual directed by Diesel Films. Through gritty and electrifying scenes, Wick gets active with the gang. If you don't know what it means to "slide" on an opp, the video will get you right.
Synonymous to his previous releases, "Pull Up" is a devilish track that exposes Wick's grizzly lyricism and rhythmic delivery. Weaving through the heavy 808s, his delivery switches from loud and throaty to a slow, whisper. Wick's style is unorthodox as he brings together various levels of diction from mumbling, whispering, and some repetition – a chaotic and high-energy track. It honestly doesn't even matter what he's saying, the energy alone is enough to get you going.
Nardo Wick has made a lot of headway considering his debut 2020 breakthrough was not too long ago. Between a few memorable singles and track on the Judas and the Black Messiah soundtrack, he's got a hold on the game and has no plans of letting go. With praise from a few rap favorites including Lil Durk and G Herbo, he's definitely leaving his mark. He hasn't given any info about any potential albums, but fans have a pretty nice selection of tracks to ride to in the meantime.
