West Country lads The Native once again return with a huge indie banger ready to blow your mind with their expansive guitar sounds and formidable songwriting talents. "In My Mind" is a high-octane single that showcases exactly what these boys are all about.
With crashing drums and evocative guitar riffs, the single addresses the need for a beer-fuelled night out. Hooking you in with the toe-tapping beats, "In My Mind" is no doubt the biggest cut from the Plymouth boys yet. Written during a lockdown reflection, the band found themselves "looking back on the twists and turns of half remembered nights out, craving them every weekend". It's this relatable nature that make The Native so accessible. And with their continued ability to create anthem after anthem being incredibly exciting, just imagine what they're going to be sharing in a year or two.
