Afrobeats music producer Pheelz has released his debut project as an artist. The extended play, Hear Me Out is a collection of feel-good songs about success, love, and relationships. Piecing together a variety of African sounds he showcases his vocal and lyrical prowess on the project.
On the opening track, “Wayward Girl,” he describes falling in love with an adventurous woman. On “Somebody,” Pheelz declares his desire to become a successful and live life to the fullest. Meanwhile, he experiments with the popular Amapiano sound on “One Life” and showcases his versatility through the rhythm and instrumentation in “Many Men.” One of the standouts on the 5-track project is “LAVIDA” because of the creative use of the trumpet and drums.

Sharing more details on the release, Pheelz says, “Hear Me Out comes from a place of self-discovery, self-actualization and the undying love to create. It gives a sneak-peek into who I am as an artist and individual. I’ve always wanted to release records of my own so it feels great to finally be able to share the EP with the world.” Although only 13-minutes long, the talented producer keeps things short and very entertaining on Hear Me Out.
