LA-based British singer Rochelle Jordan sure has something going on and her new single "All Along" caught our ears. She is currently signed to TOKiMONSTA’s Young Art Records and the single is her second offering of the year and sees her working with her longtime collaborators KLSH and Machinedrum.
The track is exactly what we didn't know we needed and it's an excellent new jack swing track with a 2021 dance attitude. Jordan is more than comfortable over the rumbling dancefloor-filling track and delivers a laidback and somewhat hushed vocal performance with sultry sensibilities. Jordan's sublime vocals also add to the self-love theme of the song and we see her explore the concept to the brim as she sings "Trying to find someone to love like me/I ain't find it west to east." She realizes that the greatest love comes from within and it's never external.
The singer has quite an interesting resume having worked with Childish Gambino (Donald Glover) on his 2014 Grammy-nominated album Because the Internet, and also did voiceovers for the Adult Swim show, Black Dynamite.
