Two trailblazers in their own right, the aural coalescence of German bass music titan Besomorph and States-based producer and artist Silent Child careers past genre boundaries like a speeding juggernaut, and together they've crafted an irrefutable banger, the unapologetically titled "IDGAF." As part of his weekly single release series that continues until September, Besomorph continues to stun with his stratospheric consistency.
A softly grinding bass and murky synth melodies pull you into the track rapturous atmosphere, a concurrent hallmark of both parties respective palettes. Silent Child's nonchalant and subtly warped vocal sweeps in, transported by a gentle guitar loop which introduces the paramount component for this standout slice of future bass. The white noise rises into the drop, which uses the eponymous phrase to switch gears into a nasty groove, one that flickers from calls and responses between pulsating brassy synths and swaggeringly infectious guitar licks.
